Natalie and Beau’s wedding at Le Pavillion in Lafayette, Louisiana, had one of my favorite details yet. Natalie is a third-grade teacher, and she had each of her students write a piece of marriage advice for the couple. The tips were featured on the tables, and they were such an adorable addition. My favorites: “Stay up late and eat lots of ice cream on Monday, Wesday and Friday” and “Always lock up your ice cream so your husband doesn’t get it.” Guests enjoyed live music, great food and a very good time, and I painted it all live while the party was happening. The finished painting is below, along with the vendors who made the day.
